This week, we will look at 1 Peter 2:17-25 and examine Peter’s call to the church to submit to the authorities over their lives. Wait… what?

Peter, are you forgetting Nero is a pagan ruler enforcing an agenda rooted in evil? What if he is cruel towards them? What if he asks them to do something they feel is wrong before the Lord? 

I cannot remember a season in my lifetime when this message has been more prevalent to the church in America.
