Resolved | Part 3 | Pastor Chris Heller
Last week, we went out of our way to commit to memory "VKSSGBL", the seven qualities Peter was determined to spend the remainder of his life reminding the church. This Sunday, we will continue our series with an account the apostle shares of his experience of majestic proportions.
Join us this week as we learn ‘the filter’ which Peter desires all believers to use with respect to their trust and reception of the scriptures. Have you ever heard someone say “I can’t believe that” or “can the Bible really be trusted?” If so, this is your week to gather a more informed approach to that dynamic!

Resolved | Part 2 | Pastor Chris Heller
Last week, our 2 Peter series began with a message of grace and peace being multiplied to our faith through the knowledge of God and His very great and precious promises. This week, we will look at 2 Peter 1:5-15, where we will be challenged to supplement that faith with seven specific qualities that Peter is determined to remind the church of that will keep them from failing.
Join us Sunday as we enter ‘the kitchen’ and build on the ingredients Peter calls on us to supplement our faith with!

Reflections | New Year's Sermon | Pastor Chris Heller
As we begin a new year, it always seems appropriate to reflect back on the previous one. This Sunday, in a sermon from 1 Kings entitled “REFLECTIONS,” we will look into the proverbial mirror of this past year in order to glean insight into the coming one.
Prepare to be inspired to not settle in the new year for the ‘bronze’ of what YOU feel is best, but instead pursue the ‘gold’ of what GOD says is best. May we exchange those all-too-common desires for a kingdom on earth for a higher, more excellent pursuit -- the kingdom of heaven!
Looking forward to a fresh new year!

RESOUND | The Response of Worship | Luke (pt 4)
Sunday Dec 26, 2021
Sunday Dec 26, 2021
Resound | Part 4 | Pastor Jon Adams
Merry Christmas! This Sunday, we have reason to celebrate as we gather to cap off a month of worship. That’s what this December sermon series has been all about -- learning to “worthship” and laud the name of Jesus!
As we continue looking at Luke 2, we’ll examine one more aspect of worship -- the response of worship. Most of us know Luke for the parts of the story that we’ve studied so far -- Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, the birth of Christ, the shepherds. But there’s more to Jesus’ birth than that. We’ll travel to a few locations, including a king’s palace and the temple of God, to find responses to Jesus now that Immanuel, "God with us", has arrived.
We will examine what responses God desires from us in worship, and we’ll have one more opportunity to laud his name together this Christmas season.

Resound | Part 3 | The Purpose of Worship
In the first two weeks of our Christmas series, we learned the importance of both our heart and our attitude in worship. This week, we will renew our understanding of the purpose of worship.
Why did God design us for worship? Is it just for His deserving glory, or do we somehow benefit in our worship of Him as well?
Join us this Sunday as we continue our walk through the first two chapters of the gospel of Luke and the events taking place in the little town of Bethlehem. "Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the newborn king!" But why? Let’s rediscover the answer this week.

Sunday Dec 12, 2021
Resound | Part 2 | Pastor Chris Heller
Last week, we embraced the concept of WORTHship by reflecting on ‘the heart of worship.’ God wants us to echo holy from our heart!
This week, we will continue our study in Luke 1:39-80 with 'the attitude of worship.' How do you come before a king? Does our mood matter?
Join us as we continue our Christmas series, RESOUND “Echo Holy!” Have you listened to the song yet? Have you picked your own worship song of the month?
See you Sunday! (Hint, hint . . . come with a joyful attitude!!)

RESOUND | Heart of Worship | Luke (pt 1)
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Resound | Part 1 | Pastor Chris Heller
This Sunday, we begin our Christmas series, RESOUND. Do you know what the word 'resound' means? It has a three-fold meaning:
- ‘to make a sound that will echo’
- ‘to fill a place with particular sounds’
- ‘to fame a person's name, or speak much of’
This month, we will revisit the Christmas account in Luke 1 & 2 and ask three questions:
“Do you hear what I hear?”
“Do you see what I see?”
“Do you know what I know?”
Our prayer for this series is that as you hear the heart of worship, see the attitude of worship, and know the reason for worship, it will resound an ECHO HOLY in your life this Christmas season.

Remarkable | Part 11 | Pastor Chris Heller
This Sunday we will be concluding the Remarkable Series with the sermon, “The Remarkable Church” (1 Peter 5:1-11).
We wish to use this Thanksgiving Sunday to celebrate together the goodness of God on our church, as well as reflect on what this church will need to prioritize in order to continue our calling to be remarkable.
What could possibly derail the mission? What could be the pitfalls? What could keep us from the infamous slippery slope? Are there any warnings we could heed to prevent a crash up ahead?
Peter certainly has some advice, especially for his fellow pastors, that I believe we all should listen in on. Join us this weekend as we conclude our fall series, "Remarkable!"

Remarkable | Part 10 | Pastor Jon Adams
1 Peter 4:12-19
If you’ve been following along in your 1 Peter journals this fall, there’s a theme you’ve seen come up over and over throughout the letter -- the theme of suffering. This week, Peter addresses that topic head-on in 1 Peter 4:12-19.
He shows us how to react to suffering, how to endure suffering, and most importantly, he teaches us how suffering is actually an opportunity that we can seize.
So, whether you’re currently in a season of suffering or not, this text will challenge the way we understand trials and encourage us to be REMARKABLE in our SUFFERING.
