Gospel Of Mark | Real Or Rendered | Pastor Jon Adams
What does real devotion to God look like? That’s the question our text raises this week in the Gospel of Mark (Mark 12:35-42). In Jesus’ final clash with religious leaders before his arrest, we’ll see him lay out what devotion to God really looks like. He’ll give us two examples to consider—one familiar, and one that’s totally unexpected.
Join us this Sunday as we continue our study in Mark, as well as set the framework for our Week of Prayer this coming week.

Gospel Of Mark | It's A Trap | Pastor Chris Heller
This week in our Gospel of Mark sermon series, we'll be looking at Mark 12:13-34, where Jesus continues to be questioned by the pharisees, sadducees, and scribes in an effort to catch him in a trap. But once again, his answers diffuse their arguments and bring them to silence.
Join us as we watch how Jesus responds to their questioning and gain insight into what life is all about.

This Is Who He Is - Gospel Of Mark | Whose Authority? | Pastor Chris Heller
Join us this week as we listen to Jesus answer those who confront him about his credentials. Specifically, what authority does he think he possesses to justify what he is doing and saying in the temple?
I think his response will both surprise and challenge us.

Gospel Of Mark | Zeal For His House | Pastor Chris Heller
Mark 11:12-25
Last week, we saw Jesus approaching Jerusalem among throngs of cheering crowds while harboring a sorrowful secret . . . knowing he would soon suffer his own brutal death.
This week, we’ll look at Jesus’ reaction as he encounters merchants and moneychangers in the temple, having turned it into a bustling marketplace rather than a place of worship. In a bold move that shook up the status quo, he sets in motion the circumstances that ultimately lead to his peril. Within a week he would be dead.
Join us on Sunday as we examine this iconic biblical account, and how Jesus willingly submitted to the will of the Father on behalf of all of mankind.

ThanksGiver | Members Of One Another - Part 4 | Pastor Chris Heller
In Romans 12:5 we read, “ . . . so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” In past weeks of our Thanks Giver series, we’ve examined the 'one another' responsibilities given for the church to carry out when they come together to eat and sing.
This Sunday, we will continue our Christmas series by examining our ‘one another’ responsibilities for those times when we are called by God to come together to accomplish His work. I trust these messages have had practical application for you as we endeavor to live out the one another's of scripture.

This Sunday, in part 3 of our "Thanks Giver" Christmas series, we'll explore the concept of being in harmony with one another. As believers, Jesus encourages us to live in harmony -- showing love, compassion and humility towards each other.
It's not merely the absence of conflict, but an active pursuit of unity, understanding, forgiveness, empathy, and selflessness. This approach results in peace and cooperation, all in accordance with God's divine plan for us as His people.

ThanksGiver | Together Dynamics - Part 2 | Pastor Chris Heller
Join us this Sunday as we begin our Christmas sermon series, Thanks Giver! We will be focusing on different aspects of conduct as we encounter the "one another's" in our lives. This week, we'll learn what God intended when he told us to 'have the same mind' with one another, and how we can implement that in practical ways. We've been preparing for a blessed Christmas at Renew. Our campus is decked out in holiday splendor, we'll be singing the beautiful songs of the season in our worship time, and we'll be celebrating the gift of our Savior's birth with "one another".
