In conclusion of the 2018 Christmas, Glorious Series, Pastor Chris acquaints us with the benefits of knowing Jesus by answering the questions:
- Is Jesus still alive?
- Is Jesus still on earth?
- What is Jesus like now?
- Where is Jesus now?
- What is Jesus doing?
- How does this affect me?
These benefits include: being born again, dearly loved, chosen, set apart, blameless, built up, redeemed, forgiven, citizen of heaven and a child of the King.

GLORIOUS: Battle Tested (pt 3)
Sunday Dec 16, 2018
Sunday Dec 16, 2018
In Hebrews 4:15 we read, 'For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect was tempted, as are we, yet without sin.' Through Jesus temptation we learn that 1) He sympathizes with our struggles, 2) He conquers the enticement of sin, 3) He has proven there is a way of escape, 4) He demonstrates the need for preparation, 5) He exposes who the real enemy is, 6) He was preparing for His ministry (to allow himself to be crucified for our salvation), and 7) He emerged 'Battle Tested', proven ready for his mission. As with Jesus, temptation in our life can grow us to be 'Battle Ready' and develop a stronger faith, a stronger relationship with Almighty God.

GLORIOUS: I Am (pt 2)
Sunday Dec 09, 2018
Sunday Dec 09, 2018
Jesus is the great I Am. He is Glorious!
Join us for a discussion of His seven I Am statements, an account from Luke, John, and Matthew's gospels, and what our call to Christmas is. What area do you want to work on this season? Selflessness, humility or worship.
Never forget that when Jesus was betrayed into the hands of the Pharisees and Roman cohort, every one of them fell at His feet. Satan was on his face at the feet of Jesus.
Our glorious savior chose to come to earth. Jesus chose to pay the cost for your sins, to die in your place, because He wants a relationship with you.

ONE ANOTHER: Speaking Thanksgiving (pt 11)
Sunday Nov 25, 2018
Sunday Nov 25, 2018
In Ephesians 5:19-20 we are taught to speak to one another with thanksgiving. We can do this psalms, hymn and spiritual songs. Worship in song brings harmony, unity and gratitude with other believers. Continuing the ideal of gratitude, Luke 17:11-18 reminds us to beware of ingratitude which consumes 90% of people. Instead, be like the leper who went back to Jesus in thanks (the 10% club). We can do this by hailing the Giver (Psalm 9:1), foregoing entitlement (1 Thessalonians 5:18), taking time to be thankful, smelling the roses (Colossians 3:17), valuing the process (Philippians 4:6) and doing so joyfully (Psalm 28:7)

ONE ANOTHER: Do Not Grumble (pt 10)
Sunday Nov 18, 2018
Sunday Nov 18, 2018
James 5:9 instructs us 'not to grumble against one another... so that you may not be judged'. Pastor Chris points out the dangers of grumbling which damages our testimony, discourages the hearer, airs discontentment, stirs up division and angers the Lord. We see this with the Israelites in Numbers 14. Instead we can learn from the account in Numbers and not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God (Philippians 4:6). We need to consider that God hears us, remain faithful (as did Joshua and Caleb) and rest in His promises, trusting Him. 'The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him, It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord'. Lamentations 3:25-26

ONE ANOTHER: Do Not Hate (pt 9)
Sunday Nov 11, 2018
Sunday Nov 11, 2018
It's unbelievably easy to struggle with being nice to one another. Today, Pastor Chris spoke to one of the roots of this issue: hatred - and harboring hatred may look differently than you expect it to.
Sometimes we even hate ourselves. Do you over- or under-eat? Neglect your body? Feel defeated? Acquiesce easily to things that make you uncomfortable? Are you hostile if you feel threatened?
Join us to hear 5 steps to escape hatred, as given by Jesus in the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5:21-26), and learn the E4:32 Initiative (Ephesians 4:32).
Remember to "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ Jesus forgave you. (Ephesians 4:31-32)
